ReMed was founded in 1984 for the purpose of rebuilding lives. Years of experience has taught us that lasting outcomes and a fuller life for the individuals that we serve requires treatment to be individually tailored and adjusted as necessary. The treatment team works closely with the individual, their family, their funder and other providers focusing on a treatment philosophy that works for the individual. At ReMed it isn’t just about what is happening now – it’s about the person’s history, current level of functioning, future goals and plans for discharge.
Complex Cases. Outcomes that Work.
ReMed’s Neurorehabilitation Programs identify and address functional and cognitive issues so that an individual can move on to an optimal level of independence and a life that is meaningful.
ReMed’s Neurorehabilitation Services are designed for individuals who require a residential environment focused on post-acute rehabilitation and community re-entry. Our therapeutically intense setting provides medical intervention and support, rehabilitation, and cognitive retraining and intervention. Through comprehensive assessment and treatment, functional abilities are assessed and treatment plans are designed to facilitate independent daily living skills, communication, vocational pursuits and leisure interests. The key to stability and success is for the medical and rehabilitation teams to identify and address issues so that the individual is stable enough to progress to an independent or semi-independent living environment.
Serving individuals with medical and cognitive complexities who require a moderate to high level of support and services, this intensive environment includes state-of-the-art therapies and clinical interventions in an adapted home-like environment. Interventions result in the individual reaching their optimal level of function, independence and a life that is meaningful to them.
Transitional Apartment Programs are available for those requiring support that identifies and addresses community re-entry needs. Focusing on community access, vocational rehabilitation and leisure management, small homes and apartments provide an optimal environment for developing and practicing skills necessary for living in the community.

Designed to meet the needs of the individual, ReMed’s Neurobehavioral Services focus on stability.
ReMed’s Neurobehavioral Services are nationally known for success in diagnosing underlying symptoms which cause maladaptive behavior and developing treatment plans that work for the individual in the clinical setting and in the real world.
ReMed’s Neurobehavioral Services provide a comprehensive and integrated treatment philosophy in a residential setting. Services are designed for individuals who require a high-level of intervention with the goal of identifying, addressing and stabilizing issues that cause maladaptive behaviors. We focus on decreasing or eliminating the frequency of the behavior. This is done through a variety of assessment and analysis used to develop treatment strategies and coping techniques.
ReMed’s Intensive Neurobehavioral Program is a residential setting near Philadelphia. All staff are Crisis Prevention Institute Certified (CPI) and trained in behavior management techniques, neurocognitive intervention, data collection and advanced rehabilitation skills. The goal of these services is to allow the individual to move to a less intensive environment. Treatment plans are designed to facilitate conflict resolution and behavioral management techniques. We are able to accommodate individuals who require an intensive level of services on a longer term basis due to the frequency and intensity of their particular issues.
