Brain Injury Specialists (formerly Facilitators)

  • Full-time and Part-time
  • Day, Evening and Overnight shifts
  • Philadelphia (Chester County) and Pittsburgh Programs
This position is responsible for the carryover of systems and strategies as determined by the team. The position also provides minimum to maximum assistance and/or supervision to promote our clients’ success in daily living tasks, recreational activities and vocational pursuits. Responsibilities include assisting clients with activities of daily living, personal care, therapies, vocational pursuits and recreational activities. Also includes driving and accompanying clients to appointments, activities and other outings  Employee requirements:  A high school diploma is required.  An associate' s or bachelor's degree and related health care experience is preferred.  Valid driver's license, insurance and responsibile driving record must be maintained.

Overnight Site Manager

  • Full-time and Part-time, Overnight Shift
  • Philadelphia (Chester County) Program
This position oversees and manages the day-to-day operations of designated sites and is specifically responsible for program operations and staffing. This role works collaboratively with the Clinical Specialist to manage the teams within their program location(s), and focuses on maintaining a high level of operational efficiency and consistently providing high quality client care. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: ensures implementation of governing policies and procedures (CARF, DPW, etc.); projects and identifies staffing needs and communicates same to Program and Human Resources; ensures and monitors the proper application of policies regarding hiring practices, disciplinary actions or termination, performance appraisals, EEO, anti-discrimination, and employee recognition; and responsible for overseeing orientation and training of staff in designated sites. Identifies staff training needs and coordinates resources to meet same.:  A bachelor’s degree along with a minimum of two to three years experience in the health care industry is required. Knowledge of neuropsychology, substance abuse issues, behavior and cognitive rehabilitation techniques is also desired. Experience working with families is required. Interest in working within a team approach system is also recommended. Competence in planning, organizational, writing and time management skills are also required. Ability to communicate with families, professionals and coworkers is a must. A valid driver's license, insurance and responsible driving behaviors must be maintained.
