Dave Krych to Retire as Of December 31, 2017

It is with genuine sadness and warm wishes that ReMed announces the retirement of Dave Krych, ReMed’s Vice President of Market Development, effective December 31, 2017. Dave's retirement marks the end of an era not only for ReMed but for the field of brain injury treatment. Dave graduated from Southern Illinois University with a Master of Science Degree Communication Disorders and Sciences in 1978.  In 1979 he co-founded the Centre for Neuro Skills, guiding the company to a position as a premiere program for individuals with brain injury, serving as the Executive Director and also as Clinician.  Dave joined ReMed in 2005 as a member of the Executive Team and in his 12 years, oversaw ReMed’s strategic development, contributing significantly to the company’s market share and growth.  Additionally, he has continued to serve as a clinician in the research, writing and presentations he has done through the years.  In 2016, Dave was the recipient of the Lifetime Achievement Award, from the American Congress of Rehabilitation Medicine (ACRM).

In addition to his significant contributions as a member of ReMed’s Executive Team, Dave will be missed as a colleague and co-worker.  Dave is a relationship-builder who always digs deep to understand the details.  He eagerly listens to ideas from all staff and shares his wisdom and knowledge of both business and communication readily.  He always has a great story, a big smile and contributed to the ReMed culture in his actions each and every day.  Dave firmly believes in treating all people with respect and dignity and passed that commitment on daily to co-workers, customers, and most importantly, the individuals that we serve.

Thank you to Dave for his years of service, not only at ReMed but in the field of brain injury.
