ReMed Announces Joanne Finegan Shifting to Focus on Board Role

Paoli, PA, December 3, 2018 - ReMed announced today that Joanne Finegan will be transitioning from her position of CEO, after 18 successful years of strong leadership in this role and 32 years at ReMed, choosing to focus her future efforts through her position on ReMed’s Board. Drew McCartney has accepted the position of CEO of ReMed.  Finegan will continue to work closely with ReMed as well as continue to serve as President of the Council on Brain Injury (CoBI). 

In her role as ReMed Board, Executive, Finegan will continue to work externally in the brain injury and rehabilitation arenas, participating in industry conferences and organizations.  Internally, Joanne will work closely with Drew McCartney to ensure a smooth transition. “ReMed’s current Executive Team will work with Drew to ensure that our programs are operationally and clinically managed as intended when ReMed was founded in 1984,” said Joanne Finegan.  “I am excited to be in position to both continue to drive that culture and work with Drew McCartney, as he assumes the position of CEO of ReMed.  His wide range of experience make him the perfect fit for our clinical, operational and growth goals.” 

McCartney has served as CEO of three private equity-backed health service organizations and specializes in building and growing businesses, balancing the growth goals of institutional investors with the clinical and operational goals of healthcare organizations.  His leadership roles have ranged across senior care pharmacy, senior/home care services; DME/HME; and SaaS-based pharmaceutical market access, compliance and key clinical opinion leader management services.
