Paoli, PA – ReMed Recovery Care Centers announced today the acquisition of Keystone Neuro-Rehab (Keystone) based in Jeannette and Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.  Keystone provides supported living and day treatment services to individuals with brain injuries.  Keystone was founded by Dr. Mason Scott in 1997, when he took over TBI Neuro Rehabilitation which opened its doors in 1989.

“When Dr. Scott made the decision to retire, he wanted to ensure Keystone services would continue and approached me about the possibility of becoming part of ReMed,” said Joanne Finegan, President and CEO of ReMed.  “I knew this would be an excellent fit, clinically and geographically. The ability to provide services in Central Pennsylvania has been a goal of ReMed for many years.”

“The decision to work with ReMed provided me with the assurance that the individuals we serve would continue to receive high quality care,” said Dr. Mason Scott, CEO at Keystone. “I also knew that ReMed would provide a positive culture and supportive environment for our staff.”

This acquisition adds to ReMed’s available residential services capacity as well as gives ReMed presence in Central Pennsylvania.  ReMed’s Executive and Senior Leadership Teams will be working with the Keystone staff to develop policies and procedures that will help transition Keystone into the ReMed family.
