This in depth interview "Mood Swings" discussed his extensive work with survivors of brain injury who have difficulty with emotional regulation. Chris and Candace discussed keys to behavioral stability and success, self-monitoring and self-regulation, as well as strategies for success and including family members and other important strategies for identifying these issues and for treatment.

Karen has spent the last 12 years at Bayada in a national sales leadership role, with a strong focus on developing key partnerships in support of Bayada’s mission. Karen has relied on 30 plus years of experience in diverse areas of the health care industry to develop and implement strategies to help teams achieve growth and quality outcome objectives. In this responsibility, Karen focused on strategy, planning, national accounts, managing a market liaison team and most critically, ensuring a robust referral stream from key partners.

Joanne Finegan Receives the "Flame of Inspiration Award" at the 2019 IRSG Annual Conference
Congratulations to Joanne Finegan, ReMed Board Executive, who received the prestigous
"Flame of Inspiration Award" at this year's Insurance Rehabilitation Synergy Group Annual Conference in St. Paul, Minnesota. The award was announced at the Annual Banquet and Gala held on Tuesday, May 7. This is one of the highlights of the meeting. The IRSG's Annual Conference is designed for innovative leaders in the insurance, medical and rehabilitation fields. Joanne is a regular attendee and presenter at the meeting.
ReMed on Capitol Hill
ReMed was well represented at the Congressional Brain Injury Task Force’s Brain Injury Awareness Day on Capitol Hill. Michele Foreman, Clinical Liaison, Diane Triplett, Maryland State Director and Shelby Miller, Clinical Site Manager participated in the events of the day Joanne Finegan, ReMed, Board Executive also participated and moderated the Congressional Briefing Panel “Living Well with Brain Injury.” The Congressional Task Force is comprised of over 100 bipartisan members, whose mission is to further education and awareness of brain injury—including its prevalence, prevention, and treatment and is chaired by Representative Bill Pascrell, Jr. (D-NJ). The event, held annually, was attended by individuals from all over the United States.
ReMed Awarded 10th Consecutive 3-Year CARF Accreditation
In May of 2017, ReMed was awarded its tenth consecutive three-year CARF accreditation. Since 1990, ReMed has been consecutively been awarded three year accreditation from The Commission on the Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF). We are very proud of receiving an Exemplary Conformance designation in the area of Leadership. This truly reflects the deep rooted culture of our organization! ReMed’s latest survey report stated that “the mission and values of the organization are exemplified in the delivery of services. The leadership is commended for the vision of creating programs primarily for the brain injury specialized population” and “all members of the organization demonstrate a commitment and culture of service excellence with a focus on function.”
Michael H. Marino, MD Appointed Medical Director for ReMed
December 21, 2016 - Paoli, PA – Michael H. Marino, MD has been appointed Medical Director of ReMed’s Philadelphia area programs. Dr. Marino, who has been an attending physician at the Drucker Brain Injury Center of Moss Rehab since 2012, will be responsible for coordinating medical efforts on behalf of ReMed clients in the Philadelphia area and will be a liaison with other physicians and practitioners who might be involved in the care and treatment of the individuals that ReMed serves.
